An exercise in functional web design and layout, this website was created as a redesign brand asset for Tangent Technologies, LLC in Aurora, IL. The site has been uploaded and is currently active and fully functional; it will, however, remain a work in progress as it will continually be updated with the company’s most current content. Co-extrusion, embossed surfaces and production of up to 60" wide sheets are concrete examples of how we innovate new recycled plastic lumber products, giving our customers distinctive advantages for them to design, innovate themselves and in turn grow their businesses.
• Obsessive commitment to quality and sustainability. We have 100% in house control over the quality of our recycled plastic raw material by being vertically integrated in our post-consumer plastic recycling processes. We start with post-consumer HDPE milk bottles recovered from the community based recycling programs and end with the highest fit and finish recycled plastic lumber products in the marketplace.
• Commitment to greener practices. We divert 15,000 tons per year of HDPE post-consumer milk bottles from the landfill waste stream. That's approximately 180 million plastic bottles recovered annually and giving new life through up cycling into premium quality HDPE recycled plastic lumber products. We assure accountability of our environmental claims by contracting with GreenCircle Certified, LLC, a 3rd party firm which independently audits our processes and substantiates our recycled content claims on an annual basis. The GCC certifications we have obtained verify we meet The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) 2012 Green Guides and gives our customers confidence that there is no "greenwashing" happening in the attributes of our products.
